Why Every Marketer Needs To Learn HTML

The first time I built a website, I used a website builder.

Wix.

It simplified everything, and you didn't need to know much to design a quality website.

Fast forward to college:

In one of my classes, they had us build a website from scratch in Adobe Dreamweaver, using HTML/CSS.

Needless to say… it was extremely difficult!

I had zero clue what I was doing, and he basically just told us to use ChatGPT for the code.

After that, I avoided HTML for a long while.

I did client work through Wix & Squarespace and didn't touch the thing again...

Until a year later.

I was getting bored with my job.

I had a burning desire to learn something new.

So I decided... I was gonna learn HTML/CSS.

I did some research and looked for free coding websites.

I found a couple and got to work.

The next time I did client work?

I charged more money than in any of my previous marketing work!

Why?

Because they wanted something great.

And with my newfound coding skills, I gave them a mix of Wix and HTML/CSS (for more custom-made design).

It knocked their socks OFF!

They loved it and even hired me again for some other projects!

So my point?

If you've been putting coding off because it's hard...

Find one of these tutorial sites like "FreeCodeCamp" and learn it.

Because learning to code is significantly faster than "vibe coding".

(Trust me, I've tried both.)

And if you want to learn more skills that'll teach you to be a better marketer...
