I write plain-text emails, not overly designed HTML templates. There’s a reason for that. Email providers love simple, natural messages. When they see too much code or design, they assume it’s promotional and filter it out.

Plain-text emails reach more inboxes, feel more personal, and convert at a higher rate. For luxury products, we can include a few images. But, for online services or digital products, plain text almost always wins.
​
