The biggest marketing blunder for small businesses

Yesterday, my girlfriend and I were sitting down in the living room, talking about healthy recipes we could eat for next week's dinner:
👩🦳 “Hey, what about green pepper chili?”
👨 “Ooooo, sounds delish!”
👩🦳 “Okay… what about Tofu Scramble?”
👨 “Sounds even better!!”
On and on we went…
Then, my girlfriend suddenly burst up from her chair and ran over to the measuring tape 20 feet away.
👩🦳 “Ya know what?”
👨 “What?”
👩🦳 “Let’s see what our body fat percentages are!!”
And that was the start of how I learned I’m fat…
We started with her. She wrapped the measuring tape around her waist, hips, and neck and then added her height and weight into a BF% calculator. Came out to 15.5% Body Fat.
Not bad at all!
Then we went to me. We wrapped the measuring tape around my waist, hips, and neck, and then added my height and weight into the BF% calculator. Came out to 20.5% Body Fat.
Horrible!
1 year ago, I was around 15–18% Body Fat. I stopped tracking my calories. I exercised slightly less (although around the same as before). And I worked more on my computer. And because of that…
I gained about 5% Body Fat!
(I have now created a plan to get out of this average Body Fat Percentage and get back into a fitness/athletic body fat percentage.) It will happen, mark my words.)
Believe it or not… this is the EXACT problem lots of business owners make. They're doing well. They stop tracking their marketing statistics, analytics, and overall progress. What do you know, they stop growing as a result!
If you're the owner of a business, you MUST track your progress. Otherwise, you're flying blind through a dark tunnel with no light, hoping and praying something will work.
But — on the bright side — you can fix this!
With a thorough marketing plan that'll cover all your bases and get your business back on track. (Just like I made a plan to get my fitness back on track.)
