Business Owners: Read This If Your Emails Aren’t Selling

The other day, I was on a call with a scrawny salesman.
He sounded like he was in his late 20s and like he played video games in his mom’s basement.
Now, I’m not usually one to judge… but he told me that he used to play video games 24/7, and he sounded very nervous (even though he was supposed to be selling me!). The reason we were talking was because I’d applied for a door-to-door sales job. I figured the quickest way to learn sales was to, well… sell. A lot. So, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity. At some point, I became curious and asked him how they determined which neighborhoods to target. (They sold windows and doors.)
And he answered with something literally so despicable and disgusting that I turned him down right then and there.
He said, and I kid you not:
“We use an app where you can see the name of the house owner, their income, and demographics. This is how it works. We go up to the house, and we use their name and say, ‘Hey, Mrs./Mr. Bob, we’re here for that appointment you scheduled, remember?’ But in reality, they didn’t schedule an appointment, and it makes them think we were supposed to be there.”
Like, WHAT!?
That’s so messed up. Literally preying on the elderly 101 lmao; oh my gosh.
Everything else was fine, but when he said that, I was gone.
And that brings me to today’s lesson…
Many business owners in their emails prioritize urgency and sales over value and content.
And because of that, they spend 10x more time on selling with cheap urgency than they would on building relationships with their customers. (They also make WAY less, too, because they don’t have recurring customers.)
And if you’re one of those people, then you need help. Because you’re literally chucking money out the window and saying ‘goodbye’!
I can help you but at a cost.
You’ve gotta be able to commit 60 minutes.
You’ve gotta be able to fork over $99.
Sound good?
Okay. Then you can book a 60-minute consultation with me below:
